Brioche Hexis - 2 sessions

Summer is a great time to hone your skills without the deadline of cold weather or the holidays. And it's also the perfect time to use up any bits and pieces or mini-skeins you've accumulated. These hexes are constructed entirely of two-color brioche, working from the center out. The shape is created by casting on very few stitches, then working in the round for the entire hex. These hexes are not for those who fear brioche and we've scheduled it to meet over two sessions to help folks get the hang of it.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off! You've conquered the basics of knitting and are awesome at knitting in the round. You are cool with yarn-overs.
• We provide:  the expertise.
• You bring:  Yourself, your needles (circular 40" size US 4 for Magic Loop or DPNs), stitch markers, a copy of the pattern (available via Ravelry in-store), and approximately 160 yards of two colors of fingering weight yarns - we recommend HHF sock minis.
• Class length:  2 hours per session, 4 hours total.
