Mastering Knits
Master the serger and coverstitch machine and make a cute boxy t-shirt with professional finishes. Any cotton jersey works great for this shirt. It is imperative that you pre-wash your fabric.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Adventurous Beginner, you have taken sergerĀ basicsĀ (or the equivalent) and are confident cutting jersey with a rotary cutter and sewing it on a serger.
- We provide: The expertise, the tools and pattern tracing paper.
- You bring: a copy of the pattern, and fabric appropriate for your measurements (make sure you buy fabric based on the fabric width). Don't forget we offer 15% off all materials purchased for one of our classes!
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session
Class meets Saturdays, May 7 and May 14 at 3 PM.
