This design is unisex and size inclusive and includes instructions on how to modify for your body and sleeve lengths as desired. Caitlin Hunter's Sitzmark is inspired by vintage ski sweaters and named for the iconic slope-side bar at Alyeska. Sitzmark is knit from the top down in the round featuring short row shaping for the back neck and a bold yoke motif and colorwork sleeve details. With a wealth of DK yarns currently in stock, we think you'll find the perfect combination to show off your skills.
We highly recommend doing a gauge swatch before the first class! Really. If you aren't sure what this means or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask one of our craft associates.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off, and aren't afraid of directions like "K2tog, SSK". This is eitherĀ not your first sweater ORĀ not your first colorwork project.
- We provide: Measuring tapes, enthusiasm, and the expertise.
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of the pattern , appropriate yarn and needles per the pattern; we offer 15% off all supplies for our classes.Ā
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session & meets every 2 weeks. You will need to knit between sessions to address the trickier parts in class.
