Shetland Spindrift

Jamieson's 2-ply Spindrift is a 'jumper weight' yarn from the Shetland Isles. Equivalent to a traditional 4-ply, it's ideal for Fair Isle knitting and perfect for Fair Isle sweaters (obvi), tams, vests and shawls.

• 100% Shetland Wool
• Fingering weight, woolen spun yarn
• Approximately: 115yds [105m] / 25g 'bullet'
• Gauge: 30.0 to 33.0 sts = 4 inches
• Needle size: US 2 - 3 [2.75 - 3.25mm]

Care: Hand wash. Dry flat.

Is blocking important? Shetland wools will transform with a warm wet-blocking so don't skip this step. (We promise it's worth it.)
