Scout Tee Shirt Pattern

The Scout is a woven t-shirt with cap sleeves and scoop neck. It's fitted at the shoulders and falls into a more relaxed shape below the bust. Perfect on its own for spring and summer and a great layering piece under blazers and cardigans the rest of the year.

Techniques involved include straight seams, applying a bias facing, setting sleeves and basic hemming. Sizes 14-30 also include sewing darts.

Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium light weight fabrics such as cotton, silk, lawn, voile, charmeuse, crepe de chine or wool crepe. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes or one-way design fabrics.
