Portsmith Tote

The Portsmith Tote is a stylish, rugged take on the classic market tote. With durable, water-resistant waxed canvas, a unique envelope-fold base, high-quality leather straps, and strong metal rivets, the Portsmith will quickly become your favorite, everyday tote. Plus, it comes with “I made this!” bragging rights! Skills learned: sewing with heavy weight fabrics, installing rivets, and creating an envelope-fold.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  Adventurous and Confident Beginner. You know how to thread a machine and sew a straight line.  You’ve made your fair share of tote bags.
• We provide:  Tools, machines, thread, expertise, and encouragement!
• You bring:  Yourself, a copy of the pattern, waxed canvas/cotton duck/heavy denim, and notions per the pattern (we highly recommend picking up a Finishing Kit with precut leather and rivets).
