The Story

In this three session workshop we’ll be making an entire quilt top for a throw size quilt (60 x 60”) using Half Square Triangles (HST). We’ll practice methods of how to sew multiple HST at a time, and we’ll explore all the design possibilities that can be made with this simple block. Everyone’s quilt top will be unique!

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
  • Level:  Adventurous Beginner. You know how to thread a machine, can sew a straight(ish) line, and are comfortable using a rotary cutter.
  • We provide:  the pattern designed by Laura Glass, expertise , tools, and machines.
  • You bring: Main color(s): 2 ¼ yards (or 8 Fat Quarters); Background color: 2 ¼ yards.
  • Don't forget that we offer 15% off all your workshop supplies.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 7 1/2 hours

Sessions meet Thursdays, 1/12, 1/19, and 1/26 at 5:30 PM
