Mini Virginia Leggings Pattern

The ultimate pair of basic leggings with elasticated waist. Pattern sits below the natural waist and features two lengths, two waistbands, optional cuffs and four knee patch options.

• Version 1 is a legging with knee patches
• Version 2 is a legging with cuffs and separate waistband
• Version 3 is a shortie for layering under skirts & dresses

Skill Level: Beginner

Age Range: 2-12 years old

Recommended Fabrics:
Fabrics with at least 30% stretch, preferably containing spandex or lycra. Please note that this pattern has negative ease, and as such it is very important to choose fabrics with the appropriate amount of stretch in order to get the correct fit. 

To test for stretch percentage, use the ruler on the back of the packaging, or measure a swatch width (normal width, a), then stretch it to its maximum and measure again (stretched width, b). Calculate: b divided by a minus 1. This is your stretch percentage.
