Marie-Josée Women's Briefs Pattern - PDF DOWNLOAD

A sewing pattern for women's briefs (with ostomy option). The waist is finished with wide fold-over elastic or wide lingerie band elastic. Leg openings are finished with encased elastic.

• View A: Regular briefs, front lined with shaper mesh for a tummy-tuck effect

• View B: Ostomy underwear with a scooped front lining that creates a pocket that supports the bag and keeps it away from the skin.

• You can use this pattern for bikini bottoms, using swimwear fabric.

The ostomy option pocket can also be used to hold a hand warmer to help with menstrual cramping.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Recommended Fabrics: Knit fabrics with stretch in the length and width, with good recovery. For the pocket, shaper mesh fabric with approximately 40% stretch and good recovery.

You Will Also Need: Matching thread, 1.25 yds of 3/4" fold-over elastic, 1.5 yds of 3/8" elastic, 15" of 1/4" clear elastic (for ostomy option).
