Knit Prawnda Cat Toy

Wait! You didn't get a chance to knit a fish for your cat! Do you also have a collection of mini skeins or balls of left over sock yarn? Do you have a cat? Or a cat nephew/niece/grandchild? Are you tired of seeing people post their cute sewn cat toys? Here is your opportunity to knit something for a feline friend while gaining confidence with double pointed knitting needles! LaPrawnda is a cute little shrimpy who makes a nice guard for your stash, a gift for a friend, or a welcome addition to a knitted seafood salad.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've successfully completed Knitting Basics and Knitting II.
  
• We provide:  Plenty of space, stuffing, black floss/yarn for eyes, cat nip!and encouragement.
• You bring:  yourself, a copy of the LaPranda pattern, approximately 15-20 yards  of DK weight yarn in one or two colors. Size US3 needles or whatever you need to create a dense fabric, and a tapestry needle. (Gauge is not crucial to this project but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used and ultimately your fish will look better if its stuffing isn't visible.)
