Illusion Knitting

Illusion (aka Shadow) knitting is a colorwork technique. The difference that when Illusion Knitting is viewed from the front, it appears as simple stripes. However, when viewed from an angle, a “hidden” image is revealed. We love these Sea Creatures, designed by Stranded by the Sea and can't wait to see which creature you pick for this project.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've successfully completed Knitting Basics and Knitting II.
  
• We provide:  Plenty of space, expertise, and encouragement.
• You bring:  yourself, a copy of the pattern, approximately MC 60 yds/40g and CC 45 yds/30g of worsted weight yarn. Size US7 needles or whatever you need to get gauge in straight or circular, and a tapestry needle. (Gauge is not crucial to this project since it's a square cloth but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used.) Samples pictured were knit in BlueSky Organic Cotton worsted.
