Cookie Tin with Notions

Ever since I was a kid, I have associated cookie tins with sewing kits. My grandmothers and my aunties all upcycled tins into sewing notions and button kits. It was something that was true for not only my Filipino family but also my depression-era-raised Midwestern grandma. I also LOVE butter cookies, despite my gluten intolerance, and save these tins each year to store various crafty notions. gather here has used these tins to create a sewing notions collection for any and every sewing "emergency". We used a mix a new and gently used or deadstock items to stock these tins and we hope you'll use up the contents and continue filling your tin with other must-have sewing notions (like zipper wax!).
