The sleeves and body are gathered to the cuffs and hemband, creating the most adorable balloon effect. Make the Balloon Cardigan with the V-neckline (View A) or the round neckline (View B). Choose from two lengths and optional pockets.
Skill Level: 2/4 (Advanced Beginner)
The Balloon cardigan sewing pattern requires a little practice gathering the bands to the sleeves and hem, and you will sew buttonholes.
Size Range: US 0-24 / Euro 30-54
Seam allowances included in pattern.
Recommended Fabrics:
Lighter to medium-weight knit fabrics, such as jersey or french terry.
Notions:
- Matching thread
- Interfacing
- 4-8 x Buttons (depending on View and length)
- Ribbing fabric (optional)
